The Mariano López Navarro and Mobility City Chairs at the University of Zaragoza organized the conference **”Intelligent Parking Systems in Smart Cities, a Step Towards the 2030 Agenda.”** The forum addressed various topics related to new urban models for energy efficiency, mobility, and citizen-centered connectivity. It also explored the challenges of transportation and multimodality, all through new technologies in infrastructure, data, and automation, as well as new services for planning and developing the best solutions for cities. Another topic discussed during the conference was the problems facing parking systems and their possible solutions.
The aim of this conference is to examine, from different perspectives, the most advanced parking solutions for Smart Cities through three presentations and a roundtable discussion. The event unfolded as follows:
