The MLN Group recognizes the excellence in the awarding of the “Mariano López Navarro Chair of the University of Zaragoza” prizes.

The MLN Group has awarded the “Mariano López Navarro Chair of the University of Zaragoza” prizes. These awards, now in their 17th year, recognize academic excellence in the best Master’s and Bachelor’s theses in the fields of Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering.

This year, the winners were Cristian Barón Vidán for the best Bachelor’s thesis, “Feasibility Study of Power-to-Gas Technology Integration in the Glass Industry”; and Pablo Aragües Aldea for the best Master’s thesis, “CO2 Methanation in a Fixed-Bed Reactor Improved with LTA Zeolites and Nickel-Iron Based Catalysts: Analysis of the Effect of Reaction Parameters.”

Abdenbi Cherkaoui also received an honorable mention for her Master’s thesis, “Design and Construction of a 1 kW Vanadium Redox Flow Battery.”
