In the San Blas-Canillejas district of Madrid, the MLN Group will build an indoor sports center next to the Cívitas Metropolitano, with the support of Mayor José Luis Almeida, who inaugurated the project by laying the foundation stone. The Las Rosas Municipal Center will become an innovative space dedicated to sports and wellness.
One of the standout features of this project is its careful design, which respects regulations and the existing environment. The center integrates seamlessly into the site, ensuring an efficient and accessible layout for both vehicles and pedestrians. This focus on accessibility is reflected in the arrangement of entrances from two adjacent streets, clearly separating the vehicle and pedestrian areas.
As for the facilities, the Las Rosas Municipal Sports Center will offer a wide variety of sports activities, from basketball to futsal. It will also include complementary spaces such as gyms, changing rooms, a cafeteria, and administrative areas, all designed to meet the quality standards established by the Spanish National Sports Council (CSD).
The building will have two floors and a basement, with direct access from the outside to facilitate circulation and efficient use of the facilities. The semi-basement level will house the changing rooms necessary for sports activities, while the ground floor will contain the main facilities, including a sports hall with a capacity of approximately 1,000 spectators.
Special attention has been paid to details that will enhance the user experience, such as the cafeteria area and viewing platforms with panoramic views to the north from the upper levels of the stands.
