New photovoltaic installation at the Bárboles Production Centre
The new photovoltaic installation at the Bárboles Production Centre is now operational.
The MLN Group, through its Installations Division, has completed a 367.83 kWp solar photovoltaic installation for self-consumption at its Bárboles site (Zaragoza).
The system comprises 1,098 photovoltaic solar panels and five inverters, which feed the generated energy into the system at various points, where it is then routed to the plant’s main switchboard.
The panels are mounted on the roofs of the existing buildings housing the machinery maintenance workshops, laboratories, metalwork and rebar workshops, and the logistics warehouse. Panels have also been installed in the building intended for administrative and technical use.
The roof structure has been reinforced to comply with the current Technical Building Code (CTE).
This infrastructure will supply power to all facilities in the industrial area, as well as to its aggregate, concrete and asphalt production plant.
