MLN Chair. Conference “From the connected car to the autonomous car”

The MLN Chair of Civil Engineering and Construction, together with the Mobility City Chair and with the participation of the Ministry of Public Works, held the conference “From Connected Car to Autonomous Car.” During the conference, the current state of affairs was analyzed and debated from different perspectives, with the participation of experts from various institutions, universities, and research centers throughout Spain. Nearly one hundred professionals from different sectors of the Aragonese economy attended.

In addition to the current situation and advancements in vehicles, the conference also analyzed the state of the infrastructure and the investments that will be necessary for its adaptation to this new reality, as well as the projected timelines for this adaptation.

The conference was held in two sessions: the morning at the EINA headquarters, with a more academic focus, and the afternoon at the Patio de la Infanta of Ibercaja, with a round table discussion open to the general public. The opening address was given by José Luis Soro, Minister of Territorial Planning for the Government of Aragon.
