Grupo MLN has been awarded the contract for the maintenance and operation of roads in sector HU-04 of the Ministry of Public Works, effective June 1, 2019, for a period of 3+2 years.The contract amount for the first three years is €11,880,689.28.

Sector Description
The Road Maintenance and Operation Contract for Sector HU-4 in the province of Huesca includes 5 main sections of conventional road with a total length of 254.711 km, located in the northeast quadrant of the province.
Approximately one-third of the total length corresponds to high mountain and mid-slope sections.
Notable structures include the Pilas Bridge over the Cinca River on the N-123 and a total of 29 tunnels, the two longest being located on the N-260: the Campo Tunnel at 740 m (km 407.1) and the Arro Tunnel at 425 m (km 424.0).
There is artificial lighting at twelve points (10 road crossings and two interchanges).
COEX Center
Regarding Maintenance and Operation, the Sector has a COEX Center on the N-230 at km 68.2 near Benabarre, and a COEX Subcenter on the N-260 at km 406.8 in Campo. It also includes 9 de-icing agent silos to support winter road maintenance: one on the N-123, four on the N-230, and four on the N-260, and 7 meteorological stations.
The COEX Center is located in the Benabarre Industrial Park, on the N-230 highway at kilometer marker 68+200, on the right-hand side. It comprises:
An office building attached to the warehouse. It has three floors with a total area of 492 m².
A 1,000 m² warehouse for machinery parking, material storage, general storage, and changing rooms. The various departments within the warehouse have electrical power, and all are equipped with interior lighting, emergency lights, and exterior halogen floodlights regulated by a photocell for nighttime lighting.
An open-air storage area for non-perishable materials.
Winter road maintenance facilities. A brine tank with a capacity of 13,000 liters is available, featuring corrosion-free seals and a metal cover, along with a 600-ton de-icing agent storage area.
COEX Subcenter
The COEX Subcenter is located at kilometer marker 405+800 on the right-hand side of the N-260 national highway, in the town of Campo. It comprises:
An office building with two floors and a total area of 214 square meters. This building corresponds to the former road workers’ hut.
A parking area next to the office building for machinery and personnel.
An open-air storage area for non-perishable materials.
Winter road maintenance facilities. These include a brine tank with a capacity of 30,000 liters.
The Campo tunnel, whose eastern entrance is located 300 meters away, is serviced from this COEX Subcenter. p.k.406,1 of 740 m., (with lighting, ventilation, opacimeters and CO2 detection systems, and fire detection and extinguishing alarm).
