The MLN Group has completed the construction of the sawmill for the timber company JV20 Forest in Andorra. This project, supported by the Government of Aragon through its declaration of regional interest, stands out for its scale and complexity, with an approximate investment of nearly €8 million.
From the outset, the MLN Group embraced the challenge, facing a demanding execution timeframe of just 8.5 months. However, the company not only met these deadlines but exceeded expectations by delivering the project on time.
The sawmill comprises two industrial buildings: one dedicated to the sawing process, covering approximately 6,000 square meters, and another for the manufacture of cross-laminated timber (CLT), covering approximately 9,000 square meters. In addition, ancillary buildings for offices and site facilities were included.
The most noteworthy aspect is the adaptation of the project’s execution to the specific requirements of the industrial sector, achieved through close collaboration with the client. This customization ensured that all the required specifications were met to achieve the final product, thus demonstrating the MLN Group’s adaptability and commitment.
This achievement consolidates the MLN Group’s presence in the Teruel region. It joins other important projects in the area, such as the Horcallana quarry, the Alcañiz road, the Alcañiz hospital, and the Utrillas barracks.
