The Bajo Aragón Integrated Public Vocational Training Center (CPIFP) in Alcañiz now boasts a new Vocational Training (FP) classroom building. This project, which began in October 2022 and was completed in just 11 months, is a milestone for the local educational community.
The building spans two floors, plus the roof, and offers a constructed area of approximately 2,500 m², along with landscaped areas. Its layout includes a large multipurpose room, four classrooms, and two workshops, as well as functional spaces such as a reception area, offices for the caretaker, secretary, and director.
The most noteworthy feature of the facilities is the adoption of green and sustainable technology. The building has a state-of-the-art heating system powered by aerothermal energy and underfloor heating, ensuring a comfortable and energy-efficient environment. In addition, a photovoltaic solar installation equipped with 42 panels of 450 W each provides a sustainable energy source, reducing the building’s carbon footprint.
To ensure accessibility, the Alcañiz classroom building is equipped with a modern elevator, allowing all students and staff to enjoy all the amenities that this state-of-the-art educational space has to offer.
