Grupo MLN has begun work on the expansion of the Puerto de Escandón Wind Farm in Formiche (Teruel).

The wind farm consists of six Vestas wind turbines, each with 74-meter blades and a height of 152 meters. The foundations for each turbine are made of reinforced concrete, with a diameter of 22 meters, 70,000 kg of steel, and a concrete volume of 500 m³.

The project also includes earthmoving for the work platforms and construction of access roads to each turbine, along with the excavation of trenches for the power lines that will carry energy from the wind farm to the existing substation. The earthmoving is being carried out on rocky terrain and will be performed using Grupo MLN’s fleet of machinery, including the latest generation of backhoes and jackhammers recently acquired by the group.
