The project shows significant progress in structure and finishes.
The MLN Group continues construction of the 51 public housing units on Paseo de la Estación, in the El Rosón neighborhood of Getafe, according to schedule. The works are progressing well both inside and outside the building.
The façade, made with prefabricated concrete panels, is now complete, as are the waterproofing of the roof and patios. This ensures the building’s durability and resistance to inclement weather.
Work by Floor
Inside, the ground, first, and second floors have plasterboard partitions installed on the first few walls, and the plumbing, electrical, and telecommunications installations are complete. On the third floor, the plasterboard framing and electrical wiring have been installed, while plumbing work continues.
Regarding the fourth floor, the electrical installation and waterproofing work have been completed, with the start of the partition walls still pending. On the fifth floor, three apartments with underfloor heating have been completed, and installation of the system in the warehouse has begun to optimize timelines.
Work on the garage is at a very advanced stage. The brickwork, the installation of fire-resistant and metal doors, as well as the forced extraction, lighting, and fire protection systems, have already been completed. Only some finishing touches and plastering remain.
A Sustainable and Efficient Project
This project, promoted by the Getafe Municipal Land and Housing Company (EMSV), includes the construction of 51 public housing units, 28 of which will be for sale and 23 for rent. All the apartments will have an average usable floor area of over 75 m², offering spacious and functional living areas.
The building is being constructed to near-zero energy standards and will have an A energy rating. Among the planned technical solutions are air conditioning using aerothermal technology, high airtightness of the building, a ventilation system with heat recovery, the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof, and a communal terrace for the use of future residents.
