Construction of the Modular Stadium, to be located in the North Parking area, is progressing well. This ambitious project has been awarded to the joint venture formed by NUSSLI IBERIA and Construcciones Mariano López Navarro (MLN), with a four-month execution period, meaning the works must be completed by May 30th.
MLN Group’s work includes a series of crucial actions for the proper installation and preparation of the site. These tasks began on January 20th and encompass the demolition of the existing pavement over an area of 40,000 square meters, earthmoving, paving, fencing, and the installation of the necessary infrastructure for sanitation, stormwater drainage, water supply, low-voltage electricity, telecommunications, and public lighting.
Additionally, the company will be responsible for installing the natural grass playing field, as well as the four floodlight towers required for hosting matches of the Professional Football League. The work also includes the construction of the stadium entrances, where the access turnstiles will be installed.
