The La Rosilla neighborhood in Villa de Vallecas has welcomed its new residents with the handover of keys to the Rosilla 3 development, built by the Madrid Municipal Housing and Land Company (EMVS). Developed by the joint venture formed by Grupo MLN and Aquaterra, this development of 73 affordable rental apartments stands as a model of sustainability and energy efficiency in the city. It also features three apartments adapted for people with reduced mobility, ensuring accessibility for all residents.
The apartments are distributed as follows: 24 two-bedroom units, 43 three-bedroom units, and 6 four-bedroom units, all with an A energy rating. This rating not only improves the comfort of the residents but also reduces their energy bills. The development includes an aerothermal system with radiant floor heating and cooling, and energy generation for the common areas is supported by photovoltaic panels installed on the building’s roof. In addition, 123 parking spaces have been provided, facilitating parking access for residents.
One of the highlights of Rosilla 3 is its focus on sustainability. The homes are equipped with cross ventilation and an ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite System) facade cladding, which optimizes thermal and acoustic insulation. The homes are intended for affordable rental, with rents not exceeding 30% of the monthly income of the beneficiary families.
