The Social Housing Agency (AVS) has begun construction on a social housing project in the Alto del Arenal neighborhood of Vallecas, undertaken by the MLN Group. This project, which will be developed on three plots of land and comprise five buildings, will utilize the most advanced construction systems, guaranteeing high energy efficiency and low resource consumption.
The construction of these 106 apartments is expected to be completed by 2026. The five buildings that make up the new rental housing development will include a variety of layouts to meet diverse family needs: 36 two-bedroom apartments, 60 three-bedroom apartments, and 10 four-bedroom apartments, with usable floor areas ranging from 55 to 93 square meters.
Six of these apartments will be adapted for people with reduced mobility. In addition, residents will have access to storage units, 183 parking spaces, green areas, children’s playgrounds, and outdoor exercise equipment. In addition, seven commercial premises will be made available that will contribute to revitalizing the life of the neighborhood.
